Another out-of-area post, this time about Wheatridge. This is a google screen shot of a former car dealership at 38th & Wadsworth. It has been vacant since at least 2012.
Walmart was proposing a Neighborhood Market grocery store there to anchor a 15 acre site with a mix of retail and residential. The plan had drawn the ire of residents who hate Walmart. Their wishes have been granted. Walmart is pulling out of the project. The site will probably be vacant for many years to come.
