Horizon Uptown was a planned $1.5 billion 503-acre development at the southwest corner of I-70 and E-470. There hasn't been an update on since 2010 so it is a dead project, or at least dormant. The developer actually got the empty field labeled as "blighted" so they could use tax-increment financing (TIF).
